Digital Financial Services, a joint venture between Etisalat and Noor Bank, today announced the launch of eWallet's utility bill payment services, giving customers peace of mind and savings while paying their bills.

eWallet has been instrumental during this unprecedented time to provide contactless payments. Customers will now also be able to make mobile recharges and charity payments as well as purchase game and music vouchers through the app.

Every time customers make an eligible transaction of AED50, they will receive a AED5 cashback. Maximum cashback is capped at AED50 per customer.

Customers using eWallet can now pay a wide range of services on the app without visiting other vendor platforms. These include Etisalat top-up and bill payments, Nol, Salik, Ajman Sewerage, FEWA, National Bonds, Xbox 360, Awqaf Sharjah, Beit Al Khair, Sharjah International Charity and Zakat Fund, and many other services to be included in the coming months.

Eligible billers for the AED5 cashback are Etisalat top-up and bill payments, Nol, Salik, Ajman Sewerage, FEWA, National Bonds and Xbox 360.

Regulated and licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, eWallet is a revolutionary digital payment service aimed at empowering the UAE residents with safe, convenient and flexible payment solutions through an easy-to-use mobile app. 

Unlike other mobile wallets and payment apps, a unique feature of eWallet is that there is no minimum balance needed, no hidden fees, and no need for a bank account, credit or debit card to conduct digital payments. Customers only need a valid Emirates ID and a working UAE mobile number to register for eWallet account.

Once registered, users can instantly top-up their wallet balance and start sending and receiving money between mobile phones, transfer to own or third-party bank accounts, and do merchant payments, bill payments, and mobile recharges. Users can deposit and withdraw cash from their wallets by visiting the nearest location as guided in their app.
