In an exclusive interview with Telecom Review during MWC 2024, Luis del Valle Alemán, Chief Revenue Officer at Atrebo, discussed the initiatives that Atrebo is implementing to optimize MNOs and towercos’ return on investment through digitization. He also delved into the impact innovation has on business development, shedding light on Atrebo’s future goals and current plans.

What initiatives is Atrebo implementing to optimize MNOs and towercos’ return on investment through digitization?

When engaging with new clients, our primary focus is to enhance their investment outcomes and boost profitability. Our goal is to streamline and legitimize all processes, data, and infrastructure information. By integrating processes and aligning inventory with assets, we aim to expedite overall operations.

For towercos, we accelerate colocation processes, facilitating swift purchase procedures from requests to monetization, ultimately reducing time-to-bill and initiating revenue from new locations. For MNOS, we aid in expediting processes, providing better control over installed assets, ensuring accurate payments, and enhancing overall organizational control, harnessing their relationship with towercos.

As CRO, how do you demonstrate your impact on innovation and business development?

With 30 years of experience, we consistently build upon our clients' services, striving to understand their goals and concerns. Our sensitivity towards their needs allows us to guide and accompany them through the intricate process of digitalization. It's not just about the quality of platforms and tools; it involves shaping processes, fostering culture, and seamlessly incorporating tools into the daily work routine of employees— a crucial aspect. We leverage our extensive experience in customer support to assist clients in making their success stories a reality.

How does Atrebo customize infrastructure solutions for telco market players like MNOs, towercos, fibercos, and vendors?

Through our platform, we establish an environment and ecosystem facilitating interaction and information exchange among various players such as MNOs, vendors, towercos, and contractors. The platform orders and defines internal or external processes, assigns roles to different players, and provides full control at every stage of the process. This eliminates the need for emails, offering a comprehensive tracking system within the platform. Every action is documented for future reference, allowing clients to monitor the progress of orders, validate work completion, and ensure nothing is overlooked.

Our platform empowers clients to have complete control over both internal and external processes, providing a seamless interaction space for providers and clients engaged with their business.

What future goals and plans is Atrebo currently working on?

We are constantly on the lookout for new innovations. The platform's development began 14 years ago, and since then, we have continuously added new functionalities and innovations. Currently, we are on the verge of launching an integration hub module that will simplify the collaboration with other tools used by our clients. This integration aligns with the ecosystem of tools necessary for their day-to-day business.

Moreover, we have seamlessly incorporated IoT into our platform. This enables us to receive readings from IoT devices, set thresholds, and trigger processes. Additionally, we are actively involved in AI. Over the past couple of years, our focus has been on enhancing the organization and utilizing the massive information collected on our platform. We leverage artificial intelligence to delve deeper, extract additional information and KPIs, and identify issues. This involves implementing data lakes and extracting and combining information from various sources connected to our platform.
