MySTC App has received the ‘App of the Year’ Golden Award at the Network PG's 2019 IT World Awards, which is organized annually in San Francisco and attended by major award winning companies and projects.

MySTC has been nominated among several other apps at an international level. This award is aligned with the operator’s vision which emphasizes and prioritizes the importance of digital transformation and providing the best possible customer experience.

The app is an important digital arm of STC that greatly contributes to the company’s sales in terms of facilitating the purchase of smart devices and SIM cards through the store with a free delivery service that has gained tremendous approval from customers. The app has boosted STC’s sales and made digital sales channels more comprehensive, in order to provide simpler options for existing customers and attract new customers.

MySTC app allows for a number of activities to be done with greater ease than ever before. With this app, STC customers will now be able to control and deal with their own numbers (landline included) and gain access to a wide array of services and features some of which include viewing and paying their bills, ordering SIM cards, recharging or transferring balance, staying up-to-date on special offers, accessing and controlling all numbers registered under a given customer ID, as well as accessing specific statistics of the their data and call usage.

STC recently announced its financial results which highlighted that their revenue had increased by 5.96% compared to its corresponding quarter last year and amounted to SR 41,10 million, highlighting the company’s unwavering success.

Indeed, STC has had a consistent history of success in delivering growth key metrics as well as top notch customer service. The telco has a strong presence in the KSA market and has been consistently expanding over the years, in terms of both its products and services and its reach.

Among some of its other achievements this year, STC was awarded a certificate by VMware for being one of the world’s leading cloud computing services provider. This certificate meant that it became the first certified provider of cloud services in Saudi Arabia.

In addition to this, STC has also been recognized by TDWI through a 2019 Best Practices Arad in the Business Intelligence, Visual Analytics and Data Discovery category. The company is also renowned for serving hajj pilgrims through its network which achieved record numbers and provided them with 5G network connection in over 190 locations, achieving a world’s first for providing 5G network in a holy place.
