Integrated Telecom Company (ITC) has won the Special Achievement in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) award.

This award is given to global organizations to recognize them for using spatial analysis technology smartly to solve some of the world's toughest challenges. The award presented by ESRI, the global market leader in GIS, and received by ITC at the annual ESRI user conference held in the United States of America.

ITC has utilized the GIS technology for FTTH data analysis across the Kingdom, aiming to support the National Transformation Program 2020 by reducing the time and efforts needed to implement the program's different objectives.

ITC CTO Eng. Ahmed Al-Anqari stated: "ITC made great efforts to be an active part of the National Transformation Program 2020, and since 2017 ITC put all its focus to increase the broadband connectivity in Urban Areas from 40% to 80% and from 12% to 55% in rural areas. In record time, ITC rolled out fiber in over a hundred districts covering more than half a million consumers across the Kingdom."

"We will keep developing our resources to achieve efficiency in business planning and operational activities as part of our commitment to MCIT and CITC towards improving the telecom sector and delivering Saudi Vision 2030 goals." Eng. Al-Angary added.
