Global cybersecurity solutions leader, Fortinet Inc., has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sharjah Cyber Security Center to fortify Sharjah’s digital defenses and strengthen its cybersecurity infrastructure.

The partnership focuses on enhancing information, communication, technology (ICT) security capabilities and threat response systems, aligning with the Emirate’s broader digital transformation goals.

The cooperation will also deliver joint initiatives to advance legislative and regulatory frameworks, establish public awareness programs, and support law enforcement efforts in cybersecurity threat prevention and solutions.

Key initiatives include advanced security solution exchange, technical workshops, training sessions, and cyber drills, alongside educational projects. The collaboration will provide access to Fortinet’s Network Security Expert (NSE) training materials, incident response support, and innovative projects in enterprise networking, cloud security, and digital forensics.

Moreover, the agreement will enable joint scientific and technological research, and business and economic strategies in cybersecurity.
